I live in gratitude for the wondrous people who have supported me through the challenges that life ongoingly presents… I am fortunate to be in relationship with kindred souls who splendidly add to the richness of life and who generously serve as support, to make my gifts a reality.
I delight in every step of my broadcasting journey, expanding now, into a web journey, bringing my guests to a larger audience than my weekly program, Healers Connect affords. My joy is to listen to their stories, encourage their contribution, igniting them to spirit, deepen, always deepen their contribution.
I am indebted to WBCR/LP 97.7 Community Radio in Great Barrington Mass, for the possibility to be a programmer, on this powerful volunteer station. So many kudos to Ananda Timpane, Ben Shallas, Scott Marks my day captains, Jonathan Schwartz my original tech, brilliant and quick, Michael Doyle who is my second tech, and brought his magic gardens to us, Jake Reimy my favorite stand-in, Bob O’Haver for everything: teaching me computer skills, hosting my website and being my angel all the time THANK YOU to all my exceptional guests, for teaching me to touch your hearts, and to at least 2 devoted listeners Janet Cooper and Roz Reis, who were constant reporters on my progress, and equally teachers to upgrade my skills.
To Karen Skelton, my designer, the most delightful and gifted artist, of all things beautiful, and my pink web site, marvelous to work with. Her sensitivity with the dynamic, touchable artwork, which are the gifts of spirit from the whales tales; of poet, architect, builder Jeff Nelson…these original designs, upon which the whole website is built, wake me up…..Bob O’Haver, host of Graymatterhost.com, who began Green website here, held my hand, over the air waves, Peter Wise who cleaned it all up, and put it in working order. I thank Peggy Rundle for touching the keys and typing all my scribble and interviews into this readable site. Jim Toner who is a miracle computer provider and exception resource, and myself, for having the courage to begin a new sport, that of holding hearts in my hand, bringing them to life, to an appreciative audience, and making a difference in the lives of all, furthering the integration all manner of integrated healing.
It is my honor to dedicate this work, to my adorable, adored brother Joel A. Shapiro.
