Joel A. Shapiro, CLU, ChFC, MSFS, New York Life Insurance Company, received the Julian Myric Award at age 41 for outstanding service to the industry.  He has served as president of New York City and New York State Underwriters, and has been consistently a member of the Million Dollar Roundtable.  Joel Shapiro has been an advisor to the Syracuse University School of Management, and was honored by the UJA Federation in 2002 as Man of the Year.  On today’s show Joel talks abut how to follow your heart when planning your financial legacy, how to review your financial planning, and what it means to help others plan their future.
